Sage Infusion for a Sore Throat.

by Angie

Hello, Lovelies!

Many people have been complaining about throat problems, hoarseness, larynx, and recurring angina. I do have a “mixture for a sore throat,” a recipe from the old country I come from, and it works very well. My grandmother used to make it for my family when we would fall sick.

This drink is a lifesaver, and it can save your sore throat.

As a child, I used to get sick a lot with angina. I’m super happy that I still have my tonsils! Infected tonsils can be a big problem for the whole body, not just for the throat. It is mainly a threat to the heart. Each angina carries a serious risk of weakening the heart muscle, not to mention the possibility of myocarditis. You must be careful about this! You can not ignore a sore throat regardless of the size of the tonsils! That is why it is so essential that every angina is well healed! This cannot be underestimated. Many people are so busy racing through life that they often downplay a sore throat, which can lead to strep throat, and this can lead to many other serious diseases that often remain for a lifetime …

Surely you know that a lot of diseases arises in our mouth, that’s why I invite you to try oil pulling with coconut oil. If during the autumn-winter season you do oil pulling, you will most likely miss out on all seasonal infections, viruses, and influenza. It is super easy. Use one tablespoon of melted coconut oil or sesame oil and swish for 20 minutes to break through plaque and bacteria. Add my sage mixture to that daily routine, and the effect will be sensational. Even if you don’t do oil pulling, this mixture will help you with your sore throat.

When you do “throat gargling” the body is clearing the pathogenic bacteria and viruses. My grandmother taught me to rinse my throat with sage infusion (instead of water) and salt. Salt is an antiseptic and antibacterial. You can also add propolis, which will strengthen the antibacterial effect as well as apple cider vinegar to this mixture. Apple cider binds and literally “cuts” all the phlegm that remains in the throat, where bacteria grow.

I have shared that recipe over the years with so many people, and it always helps!

Ingredients:

1 glass of WARM infusion of sage ( pour 1 cup of boiling water over two tablespoons of fresh or 1 tablespoon of dried sage leaves. Cover and steep for 10-15 minutes and strain).
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Optional 20-30 drops of propolis – it is not an essential ingredient, but it strengthens the antibacterial and antiviral effect.

How often should you use it?

It depends on the condition of your throat.
When the throat hurts a little, then it can be used in the morning and evening. In the event of a serious infection at least three times a day, but can also be 5-6 times a day (say every 2-3 hours) to get rid of pathogenic bacteria as soon as possible.

Be aware of what is going on in your body and be an observer. What information does this sickness is bringing?
Throat Chakra is responsible for the sphere of our creativity and for expressing our truth. Sometimes we should say something or just say “no,” but we do not do it for various reasons. Then this unspeakable truth gets stuck in our throat, and blocks are being created that lead to diseases. For example, an employee is tired of his boss, but he smiles and gives compliments, while the truth gets stuck in his throat creating blocks. Or even differently – a given person has problems expressing their creativity for fear of criticism or failure. These are just examples of how we block our feelings at the level of emotions, causing physical blockages in the body. In this case, in Throat Chakra.

Every disease is our teacher and has an important message for us to communicate. It is worth taking a moment to reflect, to think about what the soul wants to convey with the help of the disease of the body …

Wishing you health and happiness!

In Health,

Angie
